We Condemn the Violence and the Serious Human Rights Violations in Ethiopia
Following the recent assassination of an Ethiopian Oromo singer in Addis Ababa a mob led violence has erupted in Cities and some part of Oromo regions which has inflicted heinous crimes against humanity. Leaking information from Government Organisations and Social Media are indicating the fact that the Singer has been killed by OLF/TPLF and other mercenary anti Ethiopian elements to divide the Nation and disrupt the water filling process in the nearly completed Nile Dam!
The purpose of this statement is to warn Abiy Ahmed Ali’s Regime to immediately stop the unwise anti Ethiopian activities and to refrain from attacking the very peace-loving majority Amharas and other minority Citizens because of their Ethnic background. This shocking crime under the pretext of the death of Hachalu has been well planned ahead and intended to divide the Ethiopian people, instigate violence, attack and loot certain non-Oromo Ethnic groups in particular the Amharas to destabilize Ethiopia. The terrorist organised mob of OLF/TPLF uses list of people and house numbers to identify and kill people who are not part of their Ethnic group. They also completely cover their faces not to be identified by the public.
Ethiopians in general and the Amharas in particular have been very patient and cautious not to obstruct the so-called peaceful change in Ethiopia and reserved from opposing the new PM Abiy Ahmed’s Regime despite his inconsistency and disregard the sustained heinous crimes against the Amharas, Gurages and other minority Ethnic groups in Ethiopia.
The downfall of the tyrant TPLF was not possible without the scarification of Ethiopians in general, the Amhara people in particular and the support of the peace-loving International Community. However, the situation in Ethiopia is worsening from time to time and currently it has reached at a level where people are burnt alive in their own houses, innocent individuals are hanged, human bodies are dragged in the streets, Banks are robbed, investors’ properties and habitats of citizens have been demolished.
The number of non-Oromo ethnic groups slaughtered by the extremist OLF Mob are not yet properly accounted and reported because of the cover up by the Oromo region authorities who are sympathizers of the fanatic terrorist Qerro. The extremists/Islamist OLF do not respect the different ethnic groups, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the History, and the common values of the Ethiopian people. It has burned many Churches, demolished Monuments/Statues, butchered Monks, Priests and Nuns.
The Government itself has acknowledge that more than 200 people have been killed, many thousands wounded and Tens of Thousands are homeless. Ethiopians are witnessing the most primitive and appalling anarchy in their history. What makes the incidence intolerable is that most of the victims of these terrorists are the elderlies and children from non-Oromo ethnic groups.
Many people praised Abiy Ahmed for releasing prisoners and for recognizing the gross Human Rights Violation of the previous criminal TPLF manipulated regime. Abiy Ahmed Ali has also received a World-Wide Noble Peace Prize in the name of peace and stability in Ethiopia/East Africa. Simply by listening his positive words and some shallow reforms many of us were hopeful that the suffering of the Ethiopian people would end peacefully without violence. It seems we have been cheated again and again!!!!!
The atrocities committed at some part of Addis Ababa, Shashamane, Arsi, Ziway, Harari, and other areas are not only saddening and unlawful but are also backward crimes against the innocent residents of non Oromo inhabitants in Ethiopia. In Harari the Islamist Fundamentalist group has destroyed Ras Mekonnen’s Statue. Even in London (in Great Britain’s soil) they dared to destroy the Statue of HIM Haile Selassie. This must be a weak up warning for Ethiopians and the Western World that “History Repeats Itself”.
The so-called Federal Police, the Army and Abiy Ahmed Ali’s security forces are collaborating with the criminal mob or simply enjoy watching the perpetrators when they slaughter Human beings and destroy properties and habitats. It is also surprising that the victims have been suppressed not to defend themselves from the fundamentalists. Abiy Ahmed Ali’s Regime has shut down the Internet to hide this shocking genocide from the international Community. The regime’s security forces back up the primitive Qerro criminals and attack the defenseless non-Oromo, Christian ethnic groups using tear gas and live ammunition so that they will not be able to defend themselves. This is really sickening!! Is the minority fundamentalist OLF/Qerro financed, trained, encouraged, and supported by Abiy Ahmed Ali’s Administration? Is Amharas’ taxpayers money used by the regime to finance terrorists?
Why PM Abiy Ahmed did not take serious measures to protect Citizens, properties, Hotels, Restaurants, Houses and Business Centers and public service providers while he is massacring the peaceful Amhara Militias in the name of “Coup D’état” who were actually protecting the country from internal and external enemies?!! Yes, these unanswered questions are still nagging the hearts and minds of the peace-loving people of Ethiopia.
What makes the situation more irritating and even forced many Citizens to believe that Abiy Ahmed is anti-Ethiopian i.e. he is there to secretly facilitate TPLF and OLF in order to destroy Ethiopia and destabilize East Africa. His dangerous actions against the legal and peaceful political organisations, Asrat Media and Eskinder Nega has proved his hidden motives. Is he trying to silence the Ethiopian people? Why is he mixing up the detention of the terrorist OLF/OMN members with innocent people and put them together in prison at the same time?? Is he trying to confuse the International Community or encouraging lawlessness in Ethiopia?
Such Barbaric actions against the innocent and peaceful Ethiopian people will greatly affect healthy cooperation, peace, development and stability. The ethnic based system in Addis Ababa with its divisive evil constitution repeatedly promises to take appropriate actions against criminals. But Abiy’s Regime is still defending the immoral anti Ethiopian Constitution, the fake divisive so-called “Kill Map” and unable to restore the legal and historic flag of Ethiopia which is a symbol of peace and unity. Therefore, the regime is not willing to fulfill its promises. On the contrary it has continued to practice the outdated and expired divide and destroy politics of TPLF. What a confusing and untrustworthy leadership!! Most of the Ethiopian people do not even have enough food to eat and clean water to drink. So, why demolishing properties and displacing certain Ethnic groups are still tolerated?
OLF/OPDO, ODP/PP emerged as a new threat against the unity and stability of Ethiopia and the rest of Africa. The International Community need to understand that the crisis in Ethiopia will also affect peace and stability beyond Ethiopia, including East and North of Africa.
We advise the Ethiopian people to stay united & vigilant against arbitrary killings, division, violence, injustice and to fight back the terrorist OLF/Qerro and their evil master minder TPLF. We also urge all friends of Ethiopia, Human Rights Organisations, and the International Community at large to denounce this hazardous and backward ethnic based crime against Humanity. The Ethiopian people must not sit down and watch when their security, values, the unity and the future of their country are destroyed by insane minority Fundamentalist criminals who actually must face justice for their cumulative heinous crimes in Ethiopia.
We urge PM Abiy Ahmed to do the right thing, democratize Ethiopia and bring all genocide perpetrators and their collaborators to justice. If he fails to defend Citizens, then his government will lose trust and respect which ultimately will have a serious consequence for himself and the vast majority of the Ethiopia people i.e. the genuine deactivated opposition groups will soon be reorganized to defend the Ethiopian people by all means available.
