TPLF has Intensified its Shocking Human Rights Violations in the Historic City of Gondar. Following the illegal mass abduction and disappearance of many Amharas from their homes TPLF (the Tigre Liberation Front) faced a surprising resistance from Colonel Demeqe Zewudu who has a full support of the wider Amhara people. Many say that this is unwise move for the minority Tigre invaders as it can provoke the peaceful sleeping giant Amharas. TPLF has been making such grave mistakes several times by passing the central government and by taking the law in its ethnic group’s hand. The stand off continued to date between the minority criminal heavily armed but vulnerable forces of TPLF and the colonel who has a full support not only from the people of Gondar but also from the wider Amhara State.

The unlawfully deployed TPLF soldiers are unable to abduct the Colonel from his house in the name of peace and order. The colonel refused to surrender to these illegal Tigre lead militia and have been a stand off for almost a week. According to the reports from Gondar, TPLF’s backward militia and regular army have invaded the Amhara State and there is unrest which consumed the life of 8 people from both sides. The people of the the historic City of Gondar pledged to defend the colonel and their peaceful people from the arrogant and profane TPLF agents. The main reason of the crisis is TPLF’s continuos illegal arrests, intimidations and killings. The people of Gondar are well  known for their generosity but the back ward TPLF has been abusing the people as well as their culture and history for the last 25 years by marginalising, harassing, imprisoning and by committing shocking genocide and ethnic cleansing in particular in the Annexed fertile Wolkait and Tsgede areas of the Amhara State (Ethiopia).
