Understanding the cause of the rebellion in Eritrea after it has been united with its mother Ethiopia is a key to learn useful lessons from the past historical facts and to envisage the future prospective!  One of the confusing information that has been used as a propaganda by many Shaibia supporters was the “Federation”. They were unnecessarily blaming King Haile Selassie for uniting Eritrea with her Mother Ethiopia. Eritrea was united with Ethiopia by the demand and interest of the majority of the Eritrean people.

And again the unification intended to benefit the Eritrean people even though it has been abused by the then generation. Without the unification Eritrea was unable to get the huge Ethiopia’s Tax Payers money to reconstruct the outdated Italian factories, Roads, health services, communications and Electrification. And again hundreds of thousands of Eritreans have been settled all over the country and working in all miniseries, institutions and other organisations without discriminations i. e. this huge job availability was impossible for the Eritreans to work in Ethiopia if they did keep the Federation. system.

Ethiopians’ tax payers money was also largely used to build High Schools and University because Eritreans were not aloud to learn more than 4 grade during the Italian Rule.  The King supported the unity to give advantage for the Eritrean people as they had been dehumanised and marginalised in their on country by Italian colonialism.

To preach peace and stability the new generation of Eritrea must know the fact that Ethiopians were their genuine brothers and never betrayed or committed purposely crime against them. The Eritreans hated the Amharas because the Amharas were saying “Eritreans are Ethiopians and our brother”. The illegal separation of Eritrea by TPLF (Meles Zenawi) was supported only by TPLF, OLF, the fake Amhara organisation that had been hidden in the Name of EPRP and our external enemies. I hope the Eritreans today have realised that the Amharas have always been their true brothers.

To conclude, we welcome the normalisation of the relationships between Ethiopia and Eritrea to stabilise the security and wellbeing of the area people. But this kind of move must be done with great caution using meticulous agreements that will never allow to infringe the security and the benefit of Ethiopia or Eritrea.
