Iwooket Condemns the Crimes of TPLF Using State of Emergency and by Blocking the Internet in Ethiopia
The ongoing unrest and the shocking Human Rights Violations in Ethiopia by the illegitimate TPLF (Ethiopian Government?) is a despicable and inhuman action. The suffering of the Ethiopian people under the lawless minority group has continued without the intervention of the International Community for more than 25 years and reached at its alarming stage.
Recently TPLF has declared state of emergency, blocked the global internet and established the so called command post to harass disarm and kill the Ethiopian people who said “Enough is Enough”. The unlawful annexations of the vast fertile Amhara State land by TPLF have been continued and conflicts are active mainly in Gondar and Gojam Amhara areas.
According to the reports of social media and other reliable sources of information the situations in the other two big regions of Amhara namely Shewa and Wello are volatile and can soon challenge the minority regime.
The invasion of the Amhara areas, the forced removal of the indigenous people and the settlement of people from Tigre into the Amhara and other fertile lands is one of the main causes of instability and misery in Ethiopia. Amhara farmers have been removed from their ancestral land and replaced by people from Tigre. The new settlers include armed TPLF militias are evicting farmers from their villages by intimidation, raping their wives, children and by destroying their cultural heritages and livelihoods.
At the end of November (2015) a prison that has contained thousands Amharas has been set on fire and many prisoners were burnt inside the prison. Many others were mercilessly shot down by TPLF Militia and security forces while they were trying to escape from the fire. This is how TPLF is running the 100 Million people of Ethiopia! Many innocent elderly, women and children have been massacred during the indiscriminate manslaughter in the street of Gondar.
TPLF has also purposely instigated ethnic conflicts between the Amharas and the minority Qimant people. By encouraging mistrust and hatred on both sides of the brotherly people TPLF managed to sustain the conflict and bloodshed in the area.
while this is in progress in the Amhara areas TPLF’s continues its evil operations in Oromo, Konso and other parts of Ethiopia. The purpose of the current state of emergency is to intimidate, kill and silence the Ethiopian people because they no more want TPLF to stay in power.
This illegal State of Emergency in the name of Ethiopian government has a hidden agenda against the Amharas, Oromos, and other Ethnic groups in the country. According to reliable sources many Amharas are being killed, houses are burned, crops and livestock are being vandalised. Many believe that TPLF is preparing to instigate conflict among the different Ethnic groups for its evil survival.
The protest against the land grab from the poor farmers has been suppressed by TPLF’s barbaric measures and many young and peaceful people were massacred cold bloodily in different parts of Ethiopa. To confuse the public and to divide the the different Ethnic groups TPLF continues its divisive propaganda and evil crimes against the whole nation.
Currently the Amharas are under attack by TPLF in Welkait, Tsegede, Armachoho, Humera and in many Gojam areas. It is very important to all countries who support the illegitimate and minority TPLF to consider their relationship and to ally with the victims of the Ethiopia people. “Injustice any where is a threat to justice Everywhere!”
The systematic orchestration and sophistry continued by the TPLF controlled state media. Ethnic groups learn what make them different from other Ethnic groups and encouraged to hate other Ethnic groups by building gruesome statues and by publishing falsified information to the public so that the question of democracy and Human Rights are not raised. This is carefully planed by the evil TPLF to turn one ethnic group against the other.
It is the responsibility of all Ethiopians not to be fooled by the criminal regime and stay united and fight against TPLF. We also ask the International Community, Human Rights groups and all Ethiopian opposition organisations to condemn the State of Emergency and the blockage of the media using the internet and foil the evil plans of the criminal group.
